WE MADE IT!
Well, it's the evening of August 6th - we made it through celebrating our anniversary with no baby thus far! There are definitely signs tonight that things are progressing - so stay tuned! Our anniversary was amazing! Paul had an evening planned where we took a stroll down memory lane. First thing, we picked up a friend's convertible (thanks, Teresa!) since we had one on our wedding day 5 years ago, and we drove it all evening! We headed to Stocksdale Park, where he proposed to me and then to Smokestack BBQ, where we had our rehearsal dinner. Next, we were off to the church we were married in and then a visit to the reception hall. There was a reception set up there that hadn't started yet, so we got to see it all decorated. We stopped for some ice cream and then stayed the night at good old Wild Oak apartments, our first home together! Paul still does some computer stuff for them and the manager loaned us the model for the night! Isn't he such a romantic!!! It was a beautiful and amazing day and I couldn't be happier than to be married to this man for the last 5 years! To top it all off (as if the weekend could get any better!!), we came home around 2 in the afternoon and found that our dear small group friends had painted our living room, hallway, and dining room - a task we had given up on getting done before Baby's arrival!! It looks so beautiful - we could not be more touched! We are surrounded by the most amazing community of people you can imagine!!! Thank you all so much! So, as for tonight - I'd throw some prayers up for this household, we've called the hospital once and they seem to think we may be in early labor! We will have to see what the night brings!
