a couple of new posts today...

I took this of Em and Gabe yesterday. Surprised I actually got her into jeans - the only thing she wants to wear right now is a skirt and tights! Gabe is just enamered with her and absolutely everything she does. If he's not in the same room as her, he is looking all over for her! I don't think he's anywhere close to crawling or scooting yet, but the doctor today seemed to think it wouldn't be long! Then we'll just have to see how their relationship changes. He doesn't bother her too much right now - but he's not mobile, either! Happy Friday, everyone!

 

Gabe's check up

Well, he's almost 7 months old, but we just returned from his 6 month check up this morning! He weighs 19 1/2 pounds and is almost 30 inches long. That's 80th percentile for weight (he's tapered down a bit) and still off the chart for height! She laughed and said she wasn't sure when he'd get back on the chart at the rate he's going. He has his 2 bottom teeth and the doctor today said we should probably see the top 2 break through sometime this week! Everything else was good - he was even pretty brave for his shots!

 

Cici's Pizza and Nemo on Ice!

We were so fortunate as to acquire 4 free tickets to Nemo on Ice at Kemper Arena this week! Thanks, Pam! We left Gabe with Lexi and Eric (he really wouldn't have enjoyed it!) and Emma got to bring her best pal, Jaeda along! We had a good time and she woke up this morning asking to go back today!

Just loved this picture of Gabe! He is coming into such a little personality - still a very mellow one, compared to his sister at least, but he is so observant and calm and determined. He is doing very well - sleeping through the night, sitting up, eating solid foods - it's amazing how time flies!

 

The Kenealy's are adding a family member!!!

On Saturday night, my little brother, Jared, proposed to his girlfriend, Allison! We couldn't be more thrilled and are so looking forward to their wedding and more importantly, their marriage! Yep, that's the ring! And yep, he really is that much taller than her! But, seriously, how cute are they!?!? I am so fortuntate to add another sister to my family and my heart - she is a beautiful woman of God and I know that her and Jared are going to serve each other and God with all of their hearts! That Jared, he's a pretty cool kid, himself! They are lucky to have each other and I am blessed to have their paths crossing mine! Can't wait for July!!!
